Easter - How do you spend yours?

Easter - How do you spend yours?

Religious or not, Easter is still celebrated by many people in the UK.

Christians celebrate the resurection of Christ in many different ways, from Church Services, music, candlelight, flowers and ringing of churchbells.

For others Easter is all about the chocolate - chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, biscuits and treats. With supermarkets stocking the shelves with tempting goodies from just after Christmas, it's hard not to grab something on your weekly shop.

We're still restricted by what we can do in the UK due to Covid-19, however that doesn't mean we can't make the most of what we have. Children can still enjoy Easter egg hunts at home. Tesco, for example, sell 40 small Easter egg hunt packs for £6, bringing endless wonder and joy to children of all ages, for a relatively low price point. Hide them in the garden or around the house - just don't forget where you've hidden them!

Why not take a walk or short drive to your local Farmers Market and pick up something special for tea? Treat your mini-me's to a hot chocolate (and yourself of course), or a little pastry treat. Supporting local not only feels good, but doesn't have to be expensive, just be more conscious of where your money goes and to whom.

Whatever you decide to do, we hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend!
